The disgraced music mogul will make his first appearance before the judge who is expected to preside over his sex-trafficking trial, according to reports in AP. Diddy will be transported from a Brooklyn jail to Manhattan federal court on Thursday, October 10, to appear before Judge Arun Subramanian.

This upcoming hearing is expected to mean deadlines are set for lawyers on each side, who decide when to present arguments that will set the boundaries of a trial. Combs’ attorneys claim that on May 17, the day they released Cassie’s video, a CNN reporter contacted a member of Diddy’s team for comment before releasing it.

As for why they believe the Department of Homeland Security is the source of the leak, their attorneys point out that DHS agents were often quoted in news stories about Diddy’s raids and investigation. Combs’ legal team also pointed out that Cassie was not a likely source of the leak because her lawsuit against her ex did not make it seem like she had the tape, and after her plea deal, she had no reason to leak- the

In those same documents, Diddy’s team also accuses the feds of being too brutal while raiding their homes, accusing the feds of handcuffing their children.

During his stay at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, Diddy was visited by his daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, and his mother, Janice Combs, last week, he said. TMZ. Combs spent time with the 17-year-old twins and Janice in a visiting area, during which they were able to hug and talk while being supervised by prison staff.
