Multiple arrests announced in Orangeburg Co. domestic violence summary

ORANGEBURG, SC (WRDW/WAGT) – Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced a domestic violence roundup that led to multiple arrests during the month of October.

“I take domestic violence seriously, we’re not going to leave an exceptional domestic violence mandate,” he said. “If we haven’t found you, we’re still looking for you.”

Ravenell said the roundup started in October, which is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

“No one with a DV warrant can breathe a sigh of relief,” Ravenell said. “This is not over. You can surrender or I’ll see you soon.”
