Man wanted in several counties, arrested in Lebanon

LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man who was wanted in several Tennessee counties was arrested Monday, according to the Lebanon Police Department.

LPD said they responded to a theft report at the Pilot on Murfreesboro Road. When they arrived at the scene, the police made contact with two suspects.

One suspect has been identified as Christopher Mayberry, of Crossville.

While investigating the incident, officers discovered a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl and Xanax in Mayberry’s vehicle. A rifle, pistol magazines and brass knuckles were also found in the car.

LPD said Mayberry was wanted in multiple counties and now faces multiple charges in Lebanon.

“We are grateful for the diligent efforts of our officers in apprehending this criminal,” LPD said.
