Nigel FarageBritish MP and longtime ally of the former president Donald Trumpasked the former president to accept defeat if the election ends decisively in the vice president of Kamala Harris also favor “go play golf at Turnberry.”

Farage, the leader of the UK Reform Party, arrived in Florida to join Trump’s election night vigil at Mar-a-Lago, where he sat down for an interview with telegraph when he urged Republicans to stick to a clear outcome.

“If he’s been clear and decisive, then maybe it’s time (for Trump) to go play golf at Turnberry,” Farage said.

The British MP added that if Harris were to win, a strategic move would be for her to pardon Trump to prevent any post-election turmoil.

“If he goes in on Tuesday, I hope he forgives him,” he said. “It could look magnanimous and ease potential tensions.”

The election raised concerns in Washington and beyond about the possibility of civil unrest, a concern that has intensified since the Capitol riots in 2021. Farage stressed the importance of accepting the election results for the sake of democracy, noting that he “never agreed . with the stolen electoral narrative”.

“The whole point of the vote is that we don’t have to fight,” he remarked. “We fought two world wars for this.”

He continued: “I have huge doubts about the integrity of the election? Yes, so do about 70% of Americans. About half of Democrats question the way the election is being run,” he said. “I have to say the way the election is being run is abhorrent.

He added: “I just hope to God it’s a clear result. It’s been almost a quarter of a century since we had the hanging cads and the dimpled cads, and here we are 25 years later with huge questions about how Americans conduct elections. I find it incredible.”

Even though Farage remains publicly optimistic about Trump’s chances, he added: “It’s all hypothetical and I still think he will win.”

Farage said he hoped a second Trump term would bring “exciting” changes. Elon Muskhe suggested, would help implement “radical cuts” in Washington, shrinking federal departments in what Farage sees as a blueprint for UK Reform goals.

“That’s the sexy part,” he said. “Elon comes in and takes a knife to the deep state.”

Farage criticized Harris for being “staged in hell” and shared how he believed Trump was wrongly criticized by the American establishment: “I hate him in Washington. They are snobs. I call him a truck driver. They think it’s rude, vulgar. But everyone forgets that he’s a New Yorker.”

He continued: “The snobbery against him is just unbelievable. But politics aligns. We see it in the UK, Europe and America. The values of the center right are much more in tune with working class people than the upper middle class, and the atu campaign symbolizes that. Change.”

He praised Trump’s work ethic and joked: “The British Royal Family could learn a lot from the Trumps.”
