HPD arrests man wanted for a series of violent crimes

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police arrested a man wanted in a string of violent crimes Friday.

Police records show John Abrams, 36, was arrested in connection with two robberies.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, an employee at a vape shop on Pensacola Street reported being robbed at knifepoint.

Abrams is also accused of supporting the McCully branch of the Territorial Savings Bank.

Abrams was arrested around 3 p.m

His bail was set at $100,000.
