The jury finds Pa’s man. guilty of using a research lab as a front to make fentanyl

WILLIAMSPORT – A Montour County man has been found guilty of charges that accused him of using his scientific research business as a front to manufacture fentanyl and its variants.

A U.S. Middle District Court jury deliberated less than two hours Monday night before finding Anthony D. Bressi, 52, of Danville, guilty of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute a controlled substance and possession with intent to do the same.

The indictment resulted from an FBI investigation and a June 8, 2019, search of Bressi’s SHIVA Science and Technology Group near Lewisburg.
