Coronation Street spoilers – Joel’s killer revealed in flashback episode

Coronation Street will confirm the identity Joel Deering’s killer next week.

The ongoing mystery will be solved in a special episode airing on Friday, November 15.

Fans have been busy speculating who is responsible for Joel’s gruesome fate after his body was found in a river last month.

An autopsy revealed Joel was already dead when he hit the water after suffering blows to the head from an assailant with a crowbar.

In recent weeks, Corrie aired short flashback scenes showing the motives and whereabouts of several major suspects on the night Joel was killed.

The November 15 episode of the show will now fill in the blanks, with further flashbacks shown amid intense police questioning of DC Kit Green.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: “In this exciting episode, a series of flashbacks to the night of Joel’s murder are interspersed with Kit’s interviews with the police as viewers finally get the view from the bridge and discover who delivered the final blow who really killed. Joel.”

Meanwhile, this week’s episodes see Dee-Dee Bailey confesses to her father Ed that she’s the one who killed Joel, though with more twists and turns beyond that, it’s very likely there’s more to the story that she doesn’t currently know about.

Other key suspects who have been named so far include Mason Radcliffe, Ed Bailey, Ronnie Bailey, DS Lisa Swain and Carla Connor.

Kit himself is also a suspectas she harbors her own devious secrets on the evening of Joel’s death.

Coronation Street airs the big reveal episode on Friday 15 November on ITV1 and ITVX.
