Lady Gaga shows off her engagement ring in a promotional video

Lady Gaga may have shown off her engagement ring in September while attending the Venice Film Festival with her fiance Michael Polansky, but the Little Monsters are now taking an even closer look at the ring and realizing how how big the rock actually is, thanks to her latest Instagram post.

Gaga announced she had entered political mode, telling her 57.5 million followers in a video post that “It’s time to get ready to vote. See you in Pennsylvania.” In the quick clip — during which he endorsed Kamala Harris and JD Vance for president and vice president — a brief glimpse of the ring’s underside and decor is visible as he snaps a peace sign.

The pop star recently shed light on how Polansky asked her to marry him on October 1 Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance and revealed that they often consider weddings modest. “We’re actually talking about the two of us going to court and ordering Chinese food,” Gaga said. But if her pop star persona pans out, she leaves room for something bigger: “Knowing me, too, it could become like a unicorn circus,” she added.

As for how Polansky popped the question, Gaga said, “He proposed right after my birthday, so my day passed and I was like, ‘Well, I thought he was going to propose, but then maybe…”

Polansky instead used a more mundane moment to ask. “We were just walking back into the room and we were talking and he said … it was very Michael, to ask if he could ask me,” Gaga said. “He wanted to know if it was okay to propose before he proposed and I was like, ‘Yes!’ It’s so good!”
