Election 2024: Get out and vote!

Monday is the last day for early voting, in person in the 2024 election.

6 News reporter Brian Mastre reports early in-person voting is setting records in Omaha.

Doors open at 8:30am and close at 5:00pm on Mondays. But if you’re in line at 5 p.m., you’ll be able to vote.

Early vote counting and postal ballots also begins for some counties in Nebraska.

Nebraska’s medical marijuana petition process continues Monday

Lawsuit in a lawsuit against sponsors who received two medical marijuana petitions on the November ballot. continues Monday — the day before Election Day.

Ago charges filed against two officials, the state challenges the validity of almost 100,000 signatures between initiatives 437 and 438.

Iowa Secretary of State Challenges Non-Citizen Voters

Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate is contesting the ballots of about 2,200 potential non-citizens. The ACLU of Iowa filed a lawsuit in response to Pate.

A judge ruled Sunday that it would do not block this challengewith state officials calling it a victory for election integrity.

“The federal government they confirmed 250 names on the Iowa voter register they appeared to be non-citizens. But it isn’t sharing that list still with Iowa officials,” says reporter Conner Hendricks. “In court, Pate’s lawyers said they hoped the list would arrive by Tuesday.”

Iowa officials work for ensure the voteand warn Iowans about false information or physical threats that may occur.

2024 election: Trump and Harris to hold rallies on Monday

The AP reports that Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will both make a last day’s furious push Monday before election day.

The report shows weekly gas prices in Omaha

Average gas prices in Omaha are down 13.2 cents per gallon in the past week.

A Gasbuddy The price report found that gas is now averaging $2.72 per gallon on Monday. They regularly survey 300 metro stations.

The report states that the national average is $3.05 as of Monday.
