Metro police arrest three teenagers suspected of robbery

Nashville, Tennessee — Three teenage robbery suspects were arrested Friday night by Metropolitan Nashville Police Department violent crimes detectives.

Police say detectives spotted the three teenagers in a stolen Chevrolet Camaro on Linbar Drive.

They say the Camero was taken during a carjacking Friday morning outside a store on Old Hickory Boulevard.

A Metro Police news release states that police say that before attempting to stop the vehicle, the driver entered an apartment complex on Linbar Drive and robbed two men at gunpoint.

Detectives say they deployed spike lanes and an MNPD helicopter followed the Camaro until the suspects fled the vehicle.

All the suspects were detained. Two of the suspects are 17 years old and one is 16 years old.

Each suspect is charged in juvenile court with aggravated robbery.
