Mr Trump said last night that Mrs Cheney would not be a “radical war hawk” if she was in a war herself and had weapons “pointed at her face”.

“Let’s put her in there with a shotgun, nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let’s see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are pointed in her face,” Mr. Trump said during an event with Tucker Carlson.
