LSU commit Derek Meadows visiting Michigan football Bryce Underwood

Michigan football was in the running for one of the best wide receivers in the country until midsummer, when 2025 Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman four-star wide receiver ended up opting to commit to LSU to playing with the Tigers, Bryce Underwood. But as the Wolverines look to lure the five-star quarterback from Belleville (Mich.), they must convince some of the players who have committed to LSU to come to Ann Arbor.

So it’s huge news as Meadows is visiting Michigan football for the Week 10 game against Oregon, per 247Sports’ Tom Loy , indicating he’s still open to coming north.

Meadows previously visited for the spring game in April and also during the first official visit weekend in May. The Wolverines need to find a way to make a move on him if they want to increase their chances of trading Underwood and quickly revamping their offense next season.

Meadows has a former teammate on the corn and blue, and micah Ka’apana also played at Bishop Gorman High.
