Taylor Swift pulled out of the Indianapolis Eras Tour Show due to a technical glitch

Taylor Swift won’t be bothered by a technology failure on stage!

During her Eras Tour show in Indianapolis on Friday, Nov. 1, Swift, 34, suffered a microphone-pack failure onstage while performing her song “Lavender Haze” and had to have her rig replaced.

One video posted on TikTok of the moment, Swift said, “I need a new package,” into her microphone in the middle of her performance, appearing to shout out to the crew.

Swift, who wore a purple fur coat and sequin mini dress on stage, then walked in a circle and reached behind her with one arm as she continued to sing into the microphone.

He then stood center stage and said, “I just need a new wireless pack because this one’s out of battery please,” again addressing the offstage crew as he continued to sing.

The “Fortnight” singer was ever the pro, maintaining her performance as she made her way across the stage and back before a crew member came on stage to help her.

Swift removed her coat and lifted her dress, revealing a bright blue leotard underneath, and turned around as the crew member stood behind her and changed the mic pack as she stayed to dance on the spot.

During the technical fix, Swift sang into her microphone for a few more seconds while touching her ear with her other arm, tapping her foot to the beat of the song. After the crew member finished changing the microphone pack, he said “Thank you” and jumped up and down before moving on to the next part of the show.

The singer received praise from fans in the comment section of the TikTok video.

“I love how he did that! Taylor and her full crew are a well-oiled machine!” one person wrote.

“He treated him like a pro, but also so funny. The shirt lift, the little dance, the voice, the thank you and the tech guy who doesn’t know what to do with the jacket ,” said a second follower.
