Actors Equity Bangladesh, the professional body for television actors, has recently come under fire, with several artists calling for significant reforms. Headed by renowned actor Tariq Anam Khan, this committee will serve for four months.

“Our industry has multiple organizations for actors, which is frankly unnecessary,” he noted. “We need one unified body representing all actors in theatre, OTT, television and film. Only by coming together can we drive meaningful change on a larger scale and work together to achieve global success – not just as a support network, but as a support network. unified industry”.

At the same time, we remain far from understanding what real reform could bring to the industry.”

Interestingly, I also did some acting during my reality show days. It was fun working with our acting coach, Shagor, who also acted in the show. he deserves a lot of credit, because without him, the action scenes wouldn’t have looked as good.”

Mostafizur Noor Imran also added that those who have read ‘Rongila Kitab’ by Kingkor Ahsan know how intriguing the plot is. “I will be seen as Prodip, a politician who decides to leave his business in politics; however, it’s a never-ending cycle that continues to haunt him. Because it’s a love story — ‘a love story dyed in blood’ — it follows Prodip and Shupti through many adventures that the audience will experience along the way.”

He described the location of the project as particularly wonderful, showcasing the scenic beauty of the hills. “Also, it was my first collaboration with Anam Biswas and Pori Moni. The director is incredibly calm and a real gentleman — I really appreciate his work. At the same time, as an actor who relies on his colleague’s reactions. actors, working with Pori was a great experience for me,” said Imran, who is also the founder of Theater Repertory, Bagerhat.
