Lana Condor marries Anthony De La Torre in an intimate Malibu ceremony

The To all the boys I’ve loved before the actress, 27, and the actor and musician, 30, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Serra Retreat in Malibu, Calif., in late October. Vogue reported on Friday, November 1.

Condor wore a Vera Wang wedding dress, which she chose two years ago with her mother, Mary Condor, whose death he announced in July.

“A little over two years ago, I took my mom and bridesmaids to Vera Wang to go dress shopping. My mom and I absolutely fell in love with my wedding dress the moment we tried it on and I’m so grateful to be able to share it. that experience with her,” Condor said Vogue. “It was the only time she got to see me in my dress and I will hold that memory in my heart forever.”

The newlyweds told the press that their intimate wedding took place on top of the Malibu mountains because they wanted the ceremony to feel “timeless and breezy, whimsical and natural.”

Afterwards, guests were treated to live music from Professor D of the Jordan Kahn Music Company, some of the couple’s favorite foods, served by 24 carrots and two wedding cakes made by The Butter End.

They ended their special weekend by getting their wedding arm tattooed.

Condor and De La Torre — which they announced their engagement in January 2022 — met at an Emmy Awards party in September 2015 and sparked an immediate connection. Weeks later, they left Official Instagram on October 25, 2015, with Condor posting a picture of her and her then-boyfriend fooling around together at a Just Jared event.

She later opened up to PEOPLE about her engagement, saying she is “really, really, really excited” to marry De La Torre, “her best friend”.

“He’s my person… He’s that warrior who’s been with me every step of the way for the last six years of changing my world,” she said in the March 2022 interview. “I always want to be with him and he was the most supportive person in my career. He is my warrior rock. Times when I feel like I can’t do anything or that I’m deeply burned out – he’s always been there. ”

Around her wedding, the actress shared a post on Instagramexpressing his excitement about the occasion. Alongside photos from her bachelorette party with friends – which appeared to include horse riding in nature – she wrote: “Feeling so full of love – wedding week.”

“And my amazing bridesmaids threw me the most perfect bachelorette party,” she added. “I am so deeply grateful for the women in my life who inspire me and make me feel so loved .”

In August, Condor shared a series of photos and videos of a surprise wedding shower her friends threw for her, writing that she will “remember it forever.” In one clip, De La Torre can be seen escorting the then-bride-to-be into the ballroom and hugging her as she gets emotional.
