Suspects wanted after Chestermere scam robbed, assaulted

Mountaineers in Chestermere, Alta., say a half-dozen teenagers ruined Halloween for at least one child Thursday night.

Chestermere RCMP say a young man was threatened for Halloween candy by five or six teenagers.

According to RCMP, the teenagers had what appeared to be a machete and a gun and bear-sprayed the youth, who tried to run away.

All the teenagers are described as male and wearing dark clothing and masks at the time.

It is possible that he left in a red Volkswagen car.
