Olivia Rodrigo fans are crying after her hilarious Halloween prank

With levels of mischief at their peak on Halloween, you never know what to expect. But we’re pretty sure a group of trick-or-treaters never thought they’d be greeted by the pop star Olivia Rodrigo while we were on a candy hunt.

The elaborate hoax was part of a segment for Jimmy Kimmel Live. And if you remember, the late night show is no stranger I play pranks on kids on Halloween.

During the prank, the first set of trick-or-treaters were greeted by Jimmy Kimmel’s partner Guillermo Rodriguez. Dressed in Olivia Rodrigo’s finest suit, he asked the group if they knew who he was dressed as. Shortly after they answered, they were surprised by Olivia herself.

“I was at your concert,” one of the tricksters confessed excitedly.

A girl in the next group gasped when the “Can’t Catch Me Now” singer appeared with a bucket of candy.

– Why don’t you talk? she was asked by a co-worker who gives off some serious little brother energy.

“It’s like meeting the person you like the most,” she replied.

Another trick-or-treater was left in tears after being greeted by Olivia. But don’t worry, there were tears of joy (apparently her first).

“I’ve never had a happy cry in my life,” she revealed after hugging the singer.

The adorable Halloween prank ended on a high note with trick-or-treating and Olivia singing along to “Vampire.”
