Driver charged and car impounded after being stopped by police on motorway near Stafford

Officers from Staffordshire Police stopped the white BMW on the M6 ​​near Stafford after it was seen speeding.

After being pulled over, the force said the driver attempted to provide false details but was eventually forced to provide his real identity by officers at the scene.

The driver was found to be uninsured and the car was later towed.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “This BMW was stopped on the M6 ​​near Stafford for speeding.
