A luxury Porsche without a number plate caused mayhem in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad after it veered off the road and crashed through the boundary wall of KBR Park. The speeding vehicle smashed through the iron gratings of the park and eventually collided with a tree inside the park.

The incident took place in the early hours of Friday, November 1. Witnesses described the alarming moment the car narrowly missed several pedestrians, including cancer patients, carers and homeless people resting on a nearby footpath. The sudden incident sparked widespread panic as people rushed to avoid the speeding luxury sports car.

No occupants were significantly injured as the car’s airbags deployed, but the driver abandoned the car and fled the scene immediately after the impact.

Visuals from the crash scene showed the luxury sports car was largely damaged after crashing into the KBR Park compound grid. A few other pictures show the car being towed.

Authorities suspect the driver may have been intoxicated and are investigating potential links to an influential family. Police are working to trace the identity of the driver and ensure accountability for the reckless act, while safety concerns remain high for Banjara Hills residents and visitors.
