Speedy Serve gas station robbed at gunpoint – LaGrange Daily News

Early Thursday morning around 6:40 a.m., officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to the Speedy Serve gas station at the corner of Whitesville Road and Hamilton Road in reference to reports of an armed robbery.

Police arrived and spoke with the store clerk who stated that an unknown black male assailant wearing a ski mask entered the store, jumped the counter and began brandishing a small handgun.

The clerk told police the suspect immediately went to the cash register and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store.

The suspect allegedly left the area driving a gray Kia Soul.

This incident is still under active investigation by the LaGrange Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
