South Ocean Boulevard near former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club was reopened to traffic Thursday afternoon, Palm Beach officials said in an alert.

It’s the second time the road near Mar-a-Lago has reopened since the second assassination attempt last month and the fourth time the road has reopened between Southern Boulevard and South County Road in the city, the U.S. Secret Service and Mar- a. -Lago reached an agreement announced on August 19 to remove security checkpoints and barricades near the club when Trump is away for extended periods.

Trump is expected to return to Palm Beach before Tuesday, when the Associated Press reports he will cast his own ballot in the presidential general election.

The precinct for Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump is no. 5604 at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach at 340 Seaview Ave.

The Republican presidential candidate has a busy schedule leading up to Election Day.

He has two rallies scheduled for Halloween: first in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and then in Henderson, Nevada. On Friday, Trump is scheduled for rallies in Warren, Michigan, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the Republican National Convention was held in July.

Saturday will take Trump to two key states as he visits Gastonia and Greensboro, North Carolina, and Salem, Virginia.

Trump’s departure on Thursday means opening hours for the three drawbridges to the island will return to their regular schedule, which changes when the Republican presidential nominee is home as part of temporary security zones implemented by the US Coast Guard .

The removal of Coast Guard security zones will also allow marine traffic to flow unhindered through the Intracoastal beyond Mar-a-Lago. When Trump is home, law enforcement vessels prevent boaters from stopping near the historic property.

Before reaching an agreement this month to reopen the road when the former president is not at Mar-a-Lago, the Secret Service had ordered South Ocean Boulevard near the club to close 24 hours a day, seven days a week, beginning with July 20. Officials said the shutdown would be in place at least until the Nov. 5 general election.
