Meeting for the Highway 3/South Robert Street study

Meeting for the Highway 3/South Robert Street study

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is asking community members to attend a Nov. 19 public meeting to provide feedback on plans to improve safety and access on Minnesota Highway 3/South Robert Street in West St. Paul.

The meeting will be held in person from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Wentworth Library, located at 199 Wentworth Ave. E., in West St. Paul. The event will allow attendees to hear about design concepts, provide feedback and ask questions of the study team. There is no formal presentation and the public is welcome to come anytime.

Those unable to attend can provide feedback using an online survey until Tuesday 26 November. For more information about this study, how to provide feedback, or sign up for email updates, go to mndot.gov/metro/projects/southrobertstreet.

In February, MnDOT began studying possible safety and connectivity improvements for those who walk, bike, access transit and drive in the area. This section of South Robert Street was reconstructed in 2015 to 2016 to improve mobility, access management and safety. However, the road section continued to have safety issues.
