Jerry Cantrell is on his first Top 10 solo album

Jerry Cantrell enjoyed incredible success over the decades as the lead singer of Alice In Chains. This group continues to return to the charts around the world time after time, either with new releases or older collections and hits that fans return to in large numbers quite regularly.

The rocker is also releasing music on his own, and his latest solo feature became a special hit this week. I want BloodCantrell’s new solo album debuts on seven Panel graphics and brings the legend to the highest level on almost half of them – and for the first time, no less.

I want Blood marks Cantrell’s first solo top 10 hit on three US album charts. On two of them, the set brings the rocker his first appearance in any position.

Cantrell’s latest solo effort debuts at No. 8 on the Top Album Sales chart, America’s top-selling title of any genre or format. Luminate reports that I want Blood arriving with just over 8,800 pure purchases in its first seven days of availability.

I want Blood it is Cantrell’s fourth solo win on the album sales chart. Prior to this frame, his top-grossing title was Boogie Depotwhich climbed to 28th in 1998.

The same brand new studio effort also reaches the top 10 on two other US charts I want Blood brings the superstar to the top of both the Top Hard Rock Albums (#7) and Vinyl Albums (#10) charts for the first time.

Cantrell earns his first Top Hard Rock Albums debut in this frame. In fact, his is the only entry on the account. I want Blood debuts as the fifth-highest new title on the vinyl album chart, coming in behind recent efforts by Yeat, Doja Cat, BTS’s V and even Tom Petty. Musician Alice In Chains also sits at number five on the top album sales chart when looking at debuts alone. In addition to Yeat and Petty, he’s also surpassed by Seventeen and Kylie Minogue.
