A Nashville woman suspected of shoplifting was pulled over in Mount Juliet

A traffic stop on I-40 in Mount Juliet on Friday led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Nashville woman who also had a warrant for felony theft from Rutherford County.

The woman was allegedly driving 91 mph before being pulled over by Mount Juliet police officers. During the stop, officers discovered a warrant for her arrest involving the alleged shoplifting of a large amount of Kohl’s merchandise from a Rutherford County location.

After searching his car, authorities found $5,899 worth of merchandise. The merchandise found included various beauty products, most of which were labeled as being from Kohl’s.

The suspect was arrested at the scene, where Mount Juliet police plan to coordinate charges with Kohl’s representatives.
