Two teenagers robbed in St. Louis; one while walking home from school, another while playing video games

SF. LOUIS – Police are investigating after two teenagers were robbed Thursday in St. Louis. One was targeted while walking home from school and another was targeted while playing video games at home.

The robberies happened within a mile of each other, about four hours apart, but appear to be unrelated, according to crime summaries from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Louis.

The first robbery it happened on Thursday around 15:30. Investigators say a 13-year-old boy was walking home from school in the 1000 block of North Grand Boulevard in the Grand Center neighborhood of St. Louis, when he was robbed.

Police say a teenage suspect wearing a ski mask, black jacket and sweatpants approached the victim. The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s backpack. The suspect was last seen running east across North Grand Boulevard.

The second robbery it happened on Thursday around 19:30. Investigators say an 18-year-old victim was playing video games in his apartment in the 3700 block of Lindell Boulevard in the St. Louis Midtown when it was robbed.

Police say the victim was playing video games with acquaintances when a man pulled out a gun and announced a robbery. That suspect and two others began searching the apartment for valuables, then left with the victim’s PlayStation 5 console.
