OPP are investigating a home invasion on Bayview Avenue in Tay Township involving 3 suspects

Provincial police are investigating a home invasion that occurred early Friday morning in Tay Township.

Police say three unknown male suspects entered the home on Bayview Avenue in Midland Bay Woods around 4:40 a.m. with a firearm and “took physical control of the two occupants.”

Police say the suspects ransacked the home and left a short time later.

The residents, although shaken, were not physically injured.

It is unclear if anything was stolen. No arrests have been made.

Police have not said whether this was a targeted or isolated incident.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or home surveillance video in the area to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
