Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run with serious injuries

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WBNG) — Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run accident involving a serious injury.

State police said the crash happened in the area of ​​5654 Hancock Hwy in Buckingham Township around 6:45 pm on October 17th.

Police said two people were trying to remove a tree from the roadway when the suspect vehicle failed to stop and struck the tree. As a result, the tree hit one of the people trying to remove it. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight for medical treatment.

According to police, the driver of the suspect vehicle said he was going to get help, but left the scene and never returned.

Police described the suspect vehicle as a Honda Sedan, possibly a 2003 to 2007 silver Accord. The vehicle will have front-end damage.
