The Public Administration Reform Commission has 3 more members

The government reconstituted the Public Administration Reform Commission with the inclusion of three new members, bringing the total number of commission members to 11.

The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification to this effect on Thursday (October 24).

Headed by Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, who also serves as the chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the commission was formed to build a pro-people, accountable, qualified and neutral public administration.

The three newly inducted members of the committee are Prof. Syeda Shahina Sobhan, BCS (Health) (retd), Firoz Ahmed, BCS (Audit And Accounts) (retd) and Khondakar Mohammad Aminur Rahman, BCS (Customs and Excise) (retd).

The other members are former secretaries Mohammad Tarek and Mohammad Ayub Mia, senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Mr. Mokhles ur Rahman, former additional secretary, Mr. Hafizur Rahman Bhuiyan and former joint secretary, Dr. Rizwan Khayer, former chairman of the Public Administration Department of University of Dhaka, Prof. Aka Firowz Ahmad. and a student representative.
