Rapper Lil Durk faces murder-for-hire charges in Florida – NBC New York

Popular Chicago rapper Lil Durk He is behind bars in the Broward County Jail on federal charges.

The 32-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Durk Banks, is being held on murder-for-hire charges.

Jail records show he was arrested by U.S. marshals late Thursday and early Friday.

Durk’s arrest comes as five members of the Chicago-based Only The Family (or OTF) crew with whom the rapper is affiliated were charged as co-conspirators in a murder-for-hire plot in Los Angeles.

It is unclear whether Durk is in custody in connection with the same case.
