10 Terrifying CGI Horror Movie Moments You Can’t Miss – Page 3

Speaking of scary CGI dogs, 2017’s The Bye Bye Man is a pretty scary experience, but probably not in the way it was intended.

The spooky titular figure, played by the great Doug Jones, who has brought many supernatural creatures to the screens in the past, is accompanied by a canine assistant in the film directed by Stacy Title. But instead of striking fear into the hearts of viewers everywhere when the mighty Gloom Singer arrives and chews on the strange face, you’ll probably be struggling to keep your own face straight.

Created by stitching together the body parts of the Bye Bye Man’s victims, this animal definitely had the potential to be a pretty annoying monster. It’s a shame, then, that after choosing not to opt for a more practical solution, the shoddy CGI that introduces this demon dog into the film makes him look like something someone would fire a plastic gun at an arcade in the 80s.

The film’s low budget really shows here, and as this poorly made artificial hound is definitely one of the poorest parts of the already disappointing film, you never feel like this bloodthirsty dude is the frightening threat the team behind the film intended. film.

Still, you won’t forget that face quickly.
