Abbie Chatfield reveals the one assumption she hates people making about her: ‘It annoys me’

Abbie Chatfield revealed the one big assumption people often make about her on Sunday, and she hates it.

The former Bachelorette star, 29, said many fans and critics believe she’s an “over-chronicler” because of her very open and sex-positive attitude, Body+Soul reported.

She’s often heard sharing graphic sex experiences on her podcast It’s A Lot, but says it “bothers her” when someone says she overshares her sex life.

“Every time I get advertised as a ‘chronic oversharer’ I love it, because what even is ‘oversharing’?’ she said

“To me, it feels so old-fashioned and redundant to act as if talking about sex and relationships is brave or taboo.

“Times have changed, and that’s a good thing: a big reason many people struggle with their sex lives is because they don’t know how to talk about sex in a healthy and safe way.”

The media personality said she only shares “five percent” of her life stories and is very careful to leave out details that might identify people.

He added that he does not tell his explicit experiences to be “provocative for no reason” but to inform and entertain his listeners.

It comes after Abbie and her musician boyfriend Adam Hyde were criticized for their X-rated display in a music video for Adam’s new song Online Jesus.

The clip shows the social media star and her rock star friend locked in a series of steamy scenes that send the internet dating world into overdrive.

The song is for Keli Holiday, a side project for Adam, who is one half of the Australian electronic duo Peking Duk.

Ahead of the video’s release on October 10, Adam took to Keli Holiday’s Instagram account to share a sneak peek of the music video.

It shows close-up footage of Adam seductively licking his girlfriend’s extended tongue.

It seems the cheeky act was too much for some fans.

One fan said the PDA gave them a bit of a scare: “I just opened Instagram and two wet tongues staring at me scared me.”

She’s often heard sharing graphic sexual experiences on her It’s A Lot podcast, but says it “annoys her” when someone says she’s oversharing about her sex life.

According to a statement from Adam ahead of the video’s release on October 10, there was a lot of “bad business” going on behind the scenes.

“We had the time of our lives making out and feeling each other like we were teenagers at school,” she said.

“She (Abbie) is a powerhouse and it’s an honor to have her on board for this.”

Adam created the tune with Australian musician Alex Cameron.
