FX’s new TV series “American Sports Story,” which tells the tragic story of late NFL player Aaron Hernandez, is creating a buzz on Twitter about how legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski is portrayed during his time with the New England Patriots. Gronkowski was able to respond to the viral clip in an interview with Kay Adams on “Up and Adams.”

Check out the retired legendary tight end laughing at the American Sports Story footage and telling fans he’s longtime friends with actor Laith Wallschleger in real life and felt the portrayal was ” over the top, but it fit the show perfectly.”
