Cheryl Hines supports RFK Jr. after the death of his mother, Ethel

Cheryl Hines sent a sweet message to her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. via social media following the death of his mother, Ethel Kennedy, despite his recent sexting scandal with journalist Olivia Nuzzi.

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” alum, 59, commented under RFK Jr.’s Instagram post. on her mother’s death: “That’s beautiful. Your mother was so proud of you. 🤍.”

Ethel died Thursday of complications from a stroke she suffered earlier this month. She was 96 years old.

RFK Jr. she said in her dedication to her mother that she lived a “rich and eventful life” but was “excited about the afterlife” because she would be reunited with her husband, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and their beloved dogs.

The former independent US presidential candidate also praised her “perpetual attitude of gratitude” and “moral and physical sanity” that defined her character.

Hines posted his own tribute to Ethel via Instagram on Friday and shared a similar sentiment.

“Her charisma, wisdom and strength will live on with me in every memory of her,” he wrote.

“Bobby and I spent many warm evenings in Hyannis Port dining with her and hearing stories of her extraordinary life.”

The “Suburgatory” alum continued: “She always made me laugh. She was never too serious except when she needed to be. She dressed to the nines with bare feet. She will be missed. My love is with the family”.

Hines’ support for her husband comes after he was accused of having a sexting relationship with Nuzzi, 31, a politics correspondent for New York Magazine.

Earlier this month, a source told People that the actress is “embarrassed” by the ordeal “because he got caught.”

However, he is allegedly not surprised by the affair because RFK Jr. he’s a “serial philanderer,” a Page Six insider recently claimed.

After the RFK Jr. cheating scandal. with Nuzzi coming to light, three other women claimed they also had romantic relationships with him.

The politician has refrained from commenting on the rumours, but some of his entourage have hinted that he could sue for the allegations.

Meanwhile, Page Six was told that Hines is considering filing for divorce, even though she stood united with RFK Jr. during a recent outing, in which, above all, he was not wearing his wedding ring.

The couple married at the Kennedy Compound in Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 2014.
