A source poured to PEOPLETHE Sweet Home Alabama the actress is “doing great and loves dating. Having fun with Oliver,” who is a minority co-owner of the NHL’s New York Islanders and a founding partner of Searchlight Capital.

“She often flies between Nashville and New York to see him. She also spends time with her kids,” an insider said.

The source told the outlet: “Reese likes being a businessman and doesn’t love Hollywood.”

Last month, multiple sources confirmed that PEOPLE that the rumored couple began dating after they were spotted together in New York City on September 4 for at least the second time in a month.

A source spoke to the media at the time that the two were “friends”, while another source revealed that Legally blonde actress “takes things slow when it comes to dating.”

“He likes it, but he doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son,” an insider noted.

The source added: “These are her biggest priorities.”

Meanwhile, Reese announced her divorce from ex-husband Jim Toth in March 2023 after nearly 12 years of marriage and set the divorce date for August 2023.
