Fourth body found where helicopter crashed in Russia’s Kirov region – Emergencies

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Rescuers found the fourth body when a Mi-2 helicopter crashed in a forest in Russia’s Kirov region on Saturday, the Russian Emergencies Ministry told TASS.

“The body of the fourth person killed was recovered at the scene in the Kirov region,” the ministry said in a statement.

The Polish-made helicopter has been in service for almost 38 years, data from the Civil Aircraft Register of Russia seen by TASS showed. For the past few years, it has been operated by Vyatkaavia as Medieval Aircraft.

According to preliminary information, a pilot, a doctor and two paramedics were on board, Governor Alexander Sokolov said. However, no patients were on the flight.

The Central Interregional Transport Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is analyzing the air crash. The Interstate Aviation Committee will also conduct its survey.
