Quick millet dessert to satisfy your sweet cravings in 30 minutes


Step 1

Rinse 1 cup millet under cold water to remove any residue.


Step 2

In a saucepan, combine the rinsed millet and 2 cups of almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.


Step 3

Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes until the millet is tender and has absorbed most of the milk.


Step 4

Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.


Step 5

We mix everything until it is well integrated and let it rest for a few minutes so that it thickens.


Step 6

Spoon the pudding into bowls and top with fresh fruit (such as berries or banana slices) and some nuts (such as almonds or walnuts).


Step 7

Dig into it while it’s hot or chill it in the fridge for a refreshing treat later!
