Scheana Shay reacts savagely when Raquel Leviss leaves the podcast

Scheana Shay is sharing her unfiltered opinion of Rachel “Raquel” Leviss leaving her on her podcast.

“I’m surprised it took this long,” the “Vanderpump Rules” star, 39, said at Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” while promoting her partnership with Smirnoff.

Leviss, who was once close with former co-star Shay, announced last week that he was ending “Rachel Goes Rogue” less than a year after releasing it because he wanted to move on to a “more balanced life and healthy.”

“I’ve made the decision to step both feet out of the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ universe and focus on myself, focus on my life, my healing,” the retired pageant queen, 30, shared , with their listeners.

“I have decided to stop continuing the podcast because I would like to transition from having one foot in the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ door and one foot outside.”

Leviss’ first episode aired on Jan. 8, with early iterations largely focused on unpacking her baffling affair with Tom Sandoval, who fans dubbed Scandoval.

Shay feuded with Leviss over a variety of issues surrounding the infidelity scandal, mostly rooted in how he hurt the “Good as Gold” singer’s longtime friend and now-ex Ariana Sandoval’s Madix, but quickly acknowledged that “Rachel Goes Rogue.” ” was not a total failure.

“Here’s the thing: I think everyone should have a voice and be able to show their side of the story and this was her way of doing it, so good for her,” she tells “Virtual Reali-Tea.”

“I didn’t see the longevity in this podcast when it started, and I was surprised that it went on for 60 episodes. So good for her for being able to do it for so long,” explains Shay.

“It is not easy. People think, ‘Oh, I’m going to start a podcast,’ and it actually takes a lot of work.”

The Bravolebrity has hosted its own podcast, “Scheananigans,” for over six years, consistently booking in-demand guests and breaking news in exclusive interviews with top unscripted talent.

“And yet, my heart races before every interview. I even get nervous (recording my solo episodes). I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’m out of breath’. It’s not easy” , he says

“For anyone who thinks, ‘I’m just going to start a podcast,’ there’s a lot of work involved if you want to be successful and pay the bills with it.”

When Shay isn’t podcasting, the self-proclaimed “sports babe” loves to kick back and watch some NFL on the couch or IRL.

The football season enthusiast is teaming up with Smirnoff for their Ultimate Game Day matchup campaign, which kicks off this week.

Using viral matchmaking software Matchbox, she and the beverage brand are bringing football fans together at live events, with trivia and cocktails included, starting with the Vikings-Rams showdown in Los Angeles on Thursday.

“They bring unique game day experiences, bringing football fans together. You have good drinks, you have football, you will surely make new friends”, he enthuses.
