The search continues for the woman who fell overboard from a cruise ship off the Bahamas

MIAMI – The US Coast Guard is assisting in the search for a woman who fell overboard from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in the Bahamas.

The U.S. Coast Guard said the Royal Bahamas Defense Force is leading the search for the 66-year-old woman who fell from the Allure of the Seas about 17 miles north of Nassau Tuesday evening around 9:40 p.m.

The Coast Guard dispatched an HC-144 aircrew and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Miami to assist with the search.
