Acquisition order issued for derelict old house in Offaly with hole in roof

An admission order has been issued Offaly County Council to the owners of an abandoned lot in Clara.

The site, a boarded-up house with a hole in the roof, has long been derelict, having been added to the derelict sites register in October 2011.

The small two-story house is located at 118 Lakeview a Clara.

According to the purchase order issued in early October, Offaly The County Council takes ownership of the property from previous owners Joe and Sarah Walsh.

The property was listed on County Offaly’s derelict register with an estimated value of €40,000 in January.
