Google Search is getting an unusual update that could prove controversial

Google has announced that it will remove a small but sometimes useful feature from its search results: the sitelink search. This feature has allowed users to search on certain sites when they appear in search results.

It’s a great way to refine your results if you know you’re looking for the article on a particular site, for example, without relying on internal search engines that can be a bit clunky in some cases. Google says it will remove this box in all countries and languages ​​on November 21, 2024, one month from now. It’s the latest tweak to the search experience, which has changed quite rapidly over the past year.
