WCHS to Celebrate Haunted House, Wagon Tours | News, Sports, Employment

The Warren County Historical Society will be holding a Haunted House and Trolley Tours event later this month. Here are cart guides John Shaughnesy and Brian Haines.

If you like local history and some Halloween ghosts, the Warren County Historical Society has an event for you.

The Society’s Haunted House and Trolley Tours event takes place on October 25th and 26th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm each night at 210 Fourth Ave.

“Built in 1873, the mysterious mansion is especially spooky on foggy, moonlit nights, with ghosts and ghouls roaming the halls.” WCHS CJ Chase Program. “Test your mettle against the supernatural wraiths lurking in the shadows. Refreshments will be available, for those brave enough to… have a good time.”

Guides will also present spooky tales of the county on a horse-drawn wagon tour through downtown Warren.

“Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased on site at 210 Fourth Avenue, Warren, or online at warrenhistory.org.”events“page”, Chase said. “Combo tickets (carriage tour and haunted house) are $11 in advance or $13 at the door.

Haunted house-only tours can be purchased at the door for $5 and children must be accompanied by an adult.

“Trolley rides depart every 30 minutes, so book your favorite time slot before it runs out,” she said
