Audi A5 – Reliability and safety

Although the A5 has yet to be rated by Euro NCAP safety experts, every Audi tested since 2015 has achieved the maximum five stars, so it’s not unreasonable to expect that run to continue when it’s time to ‘A5.

Standard safety kit for all cars includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure and intersection warning, turn and turn assist, as well as front and rear parking sensors and rearview and 360-degree cameras . But only the top Edition 1 models get lane-change assist, the top-down camera and the proactive passenger protection system that prevents a crash and prepares the car’s safety systems.
