The Kliq member makes a shocking WWE revelation about Triple H and Vince McMahon

The Kliq member makes a shocking WWE revelation about Triple H and Vince McMahon

As things currently stand, the WWE Universe is in a very good place, with the promotion as hot as ever and fans very happy with the creative direction that Paul “Triple H” Levesque has forged, although there there may be some occasional errors along the way. Ticket sales are up, sellouts are almost weekly, and with a new Netflix media rights deal set to begin in January, the product could appear internationally in ways few could have imagined until all a few years ago.

And yet, did you know it almost didn’t happen? It is true; according to his longtime friend and member of The Kliq Kevin Nash, Triple H actually considered leaving WWE when Vince McMahon returned to power. That’s right, in the latest edition of Click on thisNash revealed a largely unknown power struggle that left Levesque thinking about his future, even if Endeavor ultimately fell by his side when everything fell apart for Mr. McMahon.

“My whole thing is it’s like, ‘Who’s the greatest of all time?’ Absolutely, there’s the 1A, the 1B, whether you’re a Flair guy or a Hogan guy, and then there’s the business aspect, and I say the best run of anybody would be Triple H, from every point of view of the business. There is no comparison. I think one of the reasons why he’s so good at what he does on a daily basis (on a daily basis), as soon as he gets his hands on the controls , it didn’t change and the product, it was just night and day,” Nash explained Click on this via Fightful.

“Vince (McMahon) almost tried to take it away and they went through all that crap again. I think at that point, if it hadn’t gone my way, I think I’d have walked. Steph (McMahon) already had it. (Sean Oliver he asked if Vince McMahon stayed and got the creative back.) Yeah, we’ve never had the conversation. I just thought, ‘F**k, man.’ heard another one, I’ve talked to Paul about other things, so I know information and things that made me feel really good when I heard how they, Endeavor, how they felt about Paul.”

Wow, is there a world where Levesque could have left WWE and Mr. McMahon would have remained in control? Would he have come back a few months later when the Janel Grant lawsuit came up? Or is there a world where Levesque runs “The Game” in TNA or another promotion? Until someone sheds more light on the situation (Nash loves to talk), fans will now have to wonder “what if” and what, if anything, is more to the story.

Kevin Nash reveals why he chose to leave TNA for WWE in 2011

In another place Click on thisNash revealed why he left TNA in 2011 despite being booked quite well on TV. The deciding factor? Well, that would be the decision to let Booker T walk for a spot in the Royal Rumble.

“I think… I mean I worked a lot there. I was in good shape. I think the main event mafia thing might have been, that was money,” Nash explained via Fightful. “They let (Booker T), it was a bad move to let Book go. Once Book left, I was like, ‘F**k it, I’m screwing.’ I felt Book was going to be in that Royal Rumble, I was like, ‘M**t, not without me.’ So I died my black shit, I got out there.”

And the rest, as they say, is history: Nash returned in 2011 Royal Rumbleperforming as Diesel for the first time in nearly 20 years, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a few years later. Although his full-time career largely ended in TNA, his overall career has been better.
