The Making Strides Breast Cancer Awareness Walk was held Saturday in downtown Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The American Cancer Society will host its Making Strides Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, October 26.

It will be held at the Spanish Plaza in downtown Mobile. Registration starts at 6:30, with the program at 7:40 and the walk starts at 8:00.

Hundreds of people attend this annual event to celebrate survivors and those still fighting the disease, as well as to remember those who have lost their battle.
