The political addiction to Qantas gets worse

There’s nothing like racking up state credits on someone else’s dime.

How else to explain Qantas’ extraordinary dominance in securing the bookings of MPs and their staff? Sure, the bosses get into the president’s lounge, but the grunts don’t. Former Minister of Finance Lindsay Tanner Parliamentary accrual of frequent flyer points may have been abolished, but lifetime status credits are still available, accrued on every dreary flight flown to Canberra and back.
