Video shows Justin Bieber ‘finally admitting’ what Diddy ‘did to him’?

In October 2024, a video was released on YouTube claiming that Justin Bieber had “finally admitted” to what Sean “Diddy” Combs did to him.

The footage, which had accumulated more than 356,000 views at the time of writing, documented the Canadian pop star’s relationship with the rapper and music mogul over the years and strongly suggested that Combs had done something to Bieber, without making any specific accusations.

The video, titled: “Justin Bieber finally admits and shows proof of what Diddy did to him | The parties were CRAZY,” was released weeks after Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in September 2024 in sex trafficking, extortion and transportation to participate in prostitution charges.

similar publications appeared elsewhere on social media, such as to X, threadsTikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Reddit.

However, the footage did not contain details of what Combs allegedly did to Bieber, nor any revelations from the “Yummy” singer. Therefore, we have called false the claim that the clip accurately reported that Bieber had “finally admitted” to what Combs did to him.

The (archived) video was posted by a YouTube celebrity gossip channel, which claimed, without naming a source, during narration:

So Justin Bieber takes the microphone and this time he tells the world everything. From the horrible reality she had to endure under Diddy’s care to learning that her freak-off tapes were sold to the highest bidder. For years, there has been speculation about the young singer’s suffering at Diddy’s hands. And while it seemed like Justin would never talk about his experiences, now he’s finally mustered up the courage.

However, with Diddy’s recent arrest, it didn’t seem like the singer had much of a choice as the truth was expected to come out during the trial. Still, he’s simply trying to take control of the narrative. What truth did Justin reveal? And does he have proof of what Diddy did to him? Here’s everything we know.

The video concluded: “What do you think of the situation? Do you think Justin will eventually come forward with his story or choose to remain silent? Let us know in the comments below.”

However, it did not include any evidence to support the claim that Bieber “finally admitted” to what Combs did to him. If there was any truth to the claim, for example, if the Canadian singer had released any kind of statement after the rapper’s arrest, the mainstream entertainment media would have covered the story. At the time of writing, no such article has been written.

At 12:42, the narrator even said that Bieber hadn’t made that revelation, saying, “The pop singer won’t talk.”

A disclaimer under the YouTube video also read: “The content of this channel may contain information based on gossip, rumor or exaggerated representations of reality. Please use your discretion while watching and remember that not all the information presented may be real or verified.”

Although the video’s underlying claim was false, the footage might seem believable to some because it referenced Bieber talking about drug abuse, and featured an authentic video from 2009 titled “JUSTIN BIEBER’s 48 HRS with DIDDY!!” uploaded to Bieber’s YouTube channel. With the inclusion of both true and misleading information, as well as emotionally charged language, these videos focusing on baseless celebrity rumors often generate hundreds, if not thousands, of comments and opinions from social media users, which is often the ‘main objective of this content.

This wasn’t the first misleading Bieber-related rumor to catch the attention of social media users. For example, we previously debunked the false claim that Bieber sued Ellen DeGeneres “for abusing her when she was a minor,” a claim that originated with a similar YouTube celebrity gossip channel.
