The driver is confused and shouting: ‘My car!’

“This country is over,” says the person filming, “Oh my days!”

He then told the driver to phone the police and “stop wasting time”.

The DPD driver and the person filming went to the Londis store and saw the shocking moment on CCTV.

Another clip then shows the DPD driver and cameraman driving in search of the stolen vehicle.

The cameraman says he thinks it’s unlikely they’ll find him, adding: “These car thieves know what they’re doing, man.”

The footage has since been shared online with one local saying: “Who the hell leaves the engine running?”

Another person said: “You left your car running at a petrol station in London. Genius.’

Someone else added: “That’s tip because the insurance won’t even cover him because he left the keys in the ignition unattended.”

“This country is slowly decaying,” said another.

And another person said: “Respect for the bro who tried to help the DPD driver get out and look for his car.”

The Met Police has been approached for comment.
