Jake E. Lee says he was shot after confronting thieves in his neighborhood

The recent news of the shooting death of former Ozzy Osbourne and Badlands guitarist Jake E. Lee, who is currently in a band called the Red Dragon Cartel, has left many fans very grateful for how lucky Lee was. However, it has left us with many questions about how and why Lee, who had just walked his dog near his Las Vegas home, was shot. Initial reports said authorities thought the shooting was “completely random,” leaving much for speculation.

Lee has started giving updates on the situation and her condition in a couple of Facebook posts over the past few days, accompanied by photos of her dog Coco. The first update came this past Thursday morning, as Lee wrote:

“Check. Is this on? It’s been a while since I posted here. Let’s see:

I deeply appreciate all the concern and well wishes. It makes everything happen a little better. To clarify, I was shot three times. I was on my way home from walking my dog Coco (I didn’t name him, so no!) I don’t want to go into details now, I’m tired, but I feel relatively very lucky. The police found 15 shell casings at the scene, which means they emptied my clip. I could only dodge so many, so one bullet went through my forearm, one through my foot, and one in my back that broke a rib and damaged a lung. The priority now is to keep draining my lung until I’m done crying. We can then remove that tube and focus on the milder injuries.

“And by the way, Coco is fine and appreciates your inquiries!”

Did they find 15 pots? Heck, he’s not kidding that he’s lucky he’s still alive right now. His second update, which arrived yesterday, gave a little more background on the motive for the shooting:

“Thanks again for all your concern. A quick update: back home on the mend. Many thanks to the folks at Sunrise Hospital for taking such good care of me. And some brief details about that night. Walking home from our walk , Coco and I crossed paths with a couple of thugs, hooded sweatshirts pulled down and masks over their mouths, standing in the street watching their motorcycle a verbal confrontation that ended with an agreement that I would walk on one side and they would walk on the other. That didn’t work. I’ll probably talk about it in more detail later, but right now I can only comfortably do it a little at a time . Let me find another cute photo of Coco!”

While it’s certainly laudable to want to confront someone who’s trying to steal someone else’s property, and I can understand you being hesitant to call the police on almost anything these days, it’s always dangerous to take these situations in stride. your own hands But frankly, I’m very grateful to be reporting on Lee’s injuries and not his death.
