Max Maeder, 18, now has a girlfriend, says she is from Singapore and met at the gym

Singapore Olympic bronze medalist Max Maeder is taken.

In an interview with 8world, the 18-year-old excitedly revealed that he “recently got a girlfriend” and that he “chased her for a month.”

In a world where celebrities can be incredibly private about their personal lives (yes, Loh Kean Yew, we’re talking about you), Max’s revelation is refreshing.

Confirming that he is from Singapore and that they met at the gym, Max, who lives in Croatia, was however tight-lipped when asked for more information about his identity.

“I’ll have to ask her if I can reveal who it is,” he says, before adding that he “hasn’t discussed it with her.”

What a consideration. Can Max be even more of a gentleman than he already is?

Coyly revealing it’s his second relationship, his face lights up when he talks about his girlfriend, saying she’s “very cheerful and gets all his jokes”.
