The Border Collie and Italian Greyhound turn toddler toys into their ultimate playground

The Border Collie and Italian Greyhound turn toddler toys into their ultimate playground

Experts often compare a dog’s emotional intelligence to that of a two-year-old child. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that many enjoy playing with items designed for this age group. Between the bright colors, multiple textures, and intriguing sounds, they’re equally excited for playtime to begin.

This adorable Border Collie and his Italian Greyhound sister enjoy showing their little human sibling the best way to use their new toys. It’s even more impressive that they understand exactly what to do.

Check out her overflowing happiness in this video shared on October 8:

How fun! These well-behaved dogs took to playing with the new toys again, which was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! Cedar and Sprinkle’s brother Cole may not be interested in checking them out yet, but they act as quality control to ensure everything works as it should. The excitement of this beautiful Border Collie proves that everything has passed their strict safety standards and that the fun meter is off the charts for this Italian Greyhound! While Brook (@brookethomo) may not have bought these for her four-legged children, it’s always lovely to see all your kids playing together. Even after baby outgrows them, these pups may want to keep using them, making whatever they cost a great value!

Why are some dogs attracted to baby toys?

Dog Meets Baby reports that puppies are drawn to baby toys for a few reasons. One could simply be that they enjoy new toys and some baby items look comparable to theirs. Similar to human children, another factor may be that they get less attention than they are used to, so they do things that help us notice them. It may be a sign that we should pay some attention to our four-legged children. These toys may also smell like their new sibling, which they like.

People were happy to see these furry brothers playing well together. One person responded: “This is a great advertisement for the durability of this water toy!” That’s for sure! Viewer @vincenzo_the_iggy commented: “It’s always what’s not for them that’s the most interesting.” This happens often for humans and animals. Another person noted: “Cole is warming up, knowing he has the best siblings, making sure all the toys meet his level.” They will definitely help you have an even better time using them.

Fortunately, research continues to show that children who are raised with dogs have stronger immune systems than those who are not. So maybe these pups aren’t just playing for fun; maybe they know they’re helping their little brother get even healthier, too.
